The Chamber Group “GliArchiEnsemble” (The String Instrument Ensemble) is made up of eleven instrumentalists: three First violins, three second violins, two violas, two cellos and one Bass. Their collaboration with great soloists and conductors (Boris Belkin, Günter Neuhold, George Pehlivanian, Hubert Soudant, etc.) and the experience accrued on the musical scene of national and international relevance, have given the Ensemble the opportunity to refine their ever growing repertoire to a very high level. In 2005 “GliArchiEnsemble”, within the project “Il Legno Magico” (The Magic Wood) instigated by the Maestro Roberto Regazzi at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, carried out a recording of the Concert for 4 violins on disc, String Instruments and Cymbal by Antonio Vivaldi. Also in 2005 they held a concert in Bologna at the International Bibliographic Museum of Music. Subsequently in May 2005 they were invited to the Sydney Italian Festival, which allowed “GliArchiEnsemble” to perform on the prestigious and international stage of the Great Hall of the Sydney Conservatory of Music. The Ensemble played on the 28th May 2007 on the occasion of the Feast of the Italian Republic in the Verbrugghen Hall of Sydney and the Wesley United Church of Canberra. Following this on the 21st and 22nd July 2007 “GliArchiEnsemble” were invited to participate in the important International Festival of Music of Carthage performing at El Jem and Hammamet. “GliArchiEnsemble” have also had the privilege of inaugurating the first musical season organized by RAI of Palermo, in the homonymous Auditorium, for which they perform regularly with exacting programmes which are of great musical impact. These are transmitted on satellite channels of RAI International. In April 2008 they made a tour of the Venice area playing at Villa Contarini, Auditorium G. Comisso and Teatro Sociale. In March 2009 they carried out important concerts in Switzerland, promoted by Kultur Stiftung St. Martin Muri, which established “GliArchiEnsemble” once and for all as an international revelation. In April 2009 the Chamber Formation inaugurated the First Show of Chamber Music in the City of Marsala (Trapani Province) and they performed in China in the month of August 2009. In 2010 “GliArchiEnsemble” were on tour in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay and then they performed at the “Cantiere Internationale D’Arte” in Montepulciano, Italy. |
